This keyboard case is a great alternative for the magic keyboard! I love that it's backlit, and the keyboard is removable from the case with a slot for the Apple Pencil.

Great Case That Delivers

A Must-Have for Your iPad
This keyboard case is just what I needed for my iPad, providing both protection and a keyboard that can work in both Landscape and Portrait modes. The built-in stand is very useful even without the keyboard portion, and I like that it can be separated too. Overall, a great device!
